GOLAGHAT COMMERCE COLLEGE RECRUITMENT : PRINCIPAL

Applications with complete bio-data and supporting testimonials from HSLC onwards are invited for the post of Principal, Golaghat Commerce College, Golaghat, Assam from intending candidates through proper channel having qualification proper channel having qualification experience norms etc. as per prescribed Government Guidelines (O.M. No. AHE.45/2019/2 dated 25.02.2019) given below:

1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from a recognized University.

2. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) in the Institutions concerned with evidence of published work.

3. Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of 15 (fifteen) years of Teaching/Research/Administration in University/College and other Institutions of Higher Education.

4. A minimum score of (110 Research Score as per Appendix II Table 2) as stipulated in Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.

5. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s Level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently abled (Physically and visually differently abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale (wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

6. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph. D. Degree holders who have obtained their master’s Degree prior to 19 September, 1991.

7. Upper age limit of 55 years as per prescribed rules.

8. The terms of Principal shall be 5 (five) years.

Applications should be filled in the prescribed Performa issued by the DHE, Assam and send/submit their applications to the President, Governing Body, Golaghat Commerce College, Golaghat-785621 (Assam) within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this advertisement along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 3,000/- (Three Thousand) only in favour of Principal & Secretary, Golaghat Commerce College and payable in due course of time. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview.
