Gauhati University invites eligible candidates to a walk-in-interview for the position of Teaching Associate(s) in the Department of Zoology, Gauhati University on a purely temporary basis.

Position Details:

Post: Teaching Associate(s) (Temporary)

Department: Department of Zoology, Gauhati University

No. of posts: 3 (three)

Remuneration: Rs. 27,000/- (fixed) per month

Tenure: Initially for 6 months (Extension based on requirement and performance)

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the UGC Regulation, 2018 eligibility norms, including NET/SLET/Ph.D. qualification in the relevant field.

Subject Specializations:

(i) Entomology

(ii) Animal Ecology and Wildlife

(iii) Open

Interview Schedule:

Date: March 10, 2025

Document Verification: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Interview: 11:00 AM onwards

Venue: Conference Room of the Secretary, University Classes, Gauhati University

General Instructions:

Candidates must bring an updated CV, original certificates/documents, and a self-attested set of photocopies for verification.

No separate call letter will be issued for the interview.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Any changes in the interview schedule will be updated on the University website.

In case no suitable candidate is found, the University reserves the right to appoint any eligible candidate deemed fit.
