Gauhati University has released Advertisement No. NTS-6/2025 inviting eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview to engage Guest Teachers on a purely temporary basis at the Gauhati University Model H.E. School, G.U. Campus.

This opportunity is open to both fresh graduates and retired teachers. The interview will be conducted on 29 July 2025. Read the complete details below.

🔸 Post Details and Qualifications

1. Guest Teacher (Science)

·         Total Positions: 2

·         Required Qualification: Graduate with Major in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Zoology.

·         Preference: Candidates with B.Ed. qualification will be preferred.

2. Guest Teacher (Arts)

·         Total Positions: 2

·         Required Qualification: Graduate with Major in English or in any discipline under Humanities or Social Sciences.

·         Preference: Candidates with B.Ed. qualification will be preferred.

3. Guest Teacher (Computer)

·         Total Positions: 1

·         Required Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with PGDCA or BCA.

·         Date of Interview: 29 July 2025

·         Document Verification: From 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM

·         Interview Time: From 10:00 AM onwards

·         Venue: Gauhati University Model H.E. School, G.U. Campus

📌 General Instructions

·         This is a walk-in-interview. No separate call letters will be issued.

·         Candidates must bring an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV), original documents, and a set of self-attested photocopies.

·         Age limit: Maximum 40 years for fresh candidates and up to 62 years for retired teachers.

·         Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹21,000 (fixed).

·         Appointment is purely temporary and will be valid for an initial period of six months.

·         No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

·         Any changes to the interview schedule will be published only on the notice board of the school.

·         If no suitable qualified applicants are found, the university reserves the right to appoint candidates as deemed appropriate.
