Overview
National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU),
an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has
released Recruitment Advertisement No. NFSU/NON-ACADEMIC/02/2026 for Direct
Recruitment to various Non-Academic positions. Eligible Indian nationals
can apply online through the SAMARTH portal within the prescribed dates.
Total Vacancies
A total of 51 non-academic vacancies
have been announced across the following posts:
- Section
Officer – 12 posts
- Deputy
Section Officer – 14 posts
- Assistant
– 25 posts
Reservation for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS and
PwBD candidates will be applicable as per Government of India norms. PwBD
reservation is horizontal.

Pay and allowances will be as per Central
Government / University norms.
Age Limit (as on closing date)

Officer & Deputy Section Officer: 21 to 40 years
- Assistant:
21 to 35 years
Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen
as per Government of India rules. Upper age limit is not applicable to
candidates already in Government/University service, as per norms.
Educational Qualification
Section Officer / Deputy Section Officer
- Bachelor’s
Degree in any discipline from a recognized University
- Good
academic record (minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade)
- Adequate
knowledge of Hindi, English and Computer applications
Assistant
- Bachelor’s
Degree in any discipline from a recognized University
- Adequate
knowledge of Hindi, English and Computer applications
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Written
Test and/or Skill Test
- Document
Verification
The University reserves the right to shortlist
candidates and restrict the number of candidates called for the test based on
screening criteria.
Job Location
Selected candidates may be posted at any
NFSU campus in India, including Guwahati, Gandhinagar, Delhi, Goa,
Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur, Chennai and other locations. Appointments are transferable
across campuses.

/ OBC-NCL / EWS: ₹500 + GST
- SC
/ ST / PwBD / Women: Exempted
The application fee is non-refundable
and must be paid online.
