1.
Name of post: Deputy Registrar
No. of posts: 01
Pay scale:
Rs. 78,800-2,11,500/- (Academic Level-12)
Minimum
Qualification and Experience:
i) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the
marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is
followed.
ii) Nine years of experience as Assistant
Professor in the Academic Level 10 and above with experience in educational
administration.
OR
iii) Comparable experience in research
establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.
OR
iv) Five years of administrative experience as
Assistant Registrar or in equivalent post.
Desirable
Attributes and Competencies:
i) Leadership qualities and experience in one
or more of the following areas: administrative matters including legal,
recruitment, establishment, campus and estate management of materials
management, procurement/distribution of materials, import procedure/stores
accounting, stock verification etc., professional qualification in a relevant
area of management and/or practical experience of using relevant software will
also be considered useful.
ii) Exposure in the development of / working
in computerised work environment, MIS and ERP of common administrative
functions, record management and attendance monitoring system, training and HR
/ competency development of employees working in a higher educational
institution.
Age:
An age within 45 years for UR and 50 years in case of candidates belonging to
SC and ST categories as on 1st April, 2023.

Qualification and Experience:

Desirable
Attributes and Competencies:
i) Persons having experience in
administration and in conducting examinations in an educational institution of
higher learning.
ii) Experience in handling computers for
office applications.

SC and ST categories as on 1st April, 2023.

Name of post: Finance Officer

Pay scale:
Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 14,500/-
Minimum
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised
university along with at least 8 years of experience in Finance and Accounts in
a University, Government Organisation or Public Sector Undertaking / Research
Organisation.
Desirable
Qualifications, Attributes and Competencies:
i) Professional qualification in the form of
a Degree or Diploma in a relevant field of Management or a Master’s Degree in a
relevant subject.
ii) Computer literacy to oversee all finance
and accounts and stores related matters with good interpersonal skills,
knowledge of Tally and/or relevant software such as Tally.ERP.
Age:
An age not exceeding 55 years as on 1st April, 2023.
Term
of Finance Officer:
The appointment of the Finance Officer will
be for a term of 5 (five) years, but the selected person will be eligible for
reappointment under provisions of Section20(1) of the Bhattadev University Act,
2017 provided she/he fulfils the laid down conditions for appointment to the
post for another term.

Name of post: PS to the Vice-Chancellor

Pay scale:
Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 14,500/-
Minimum
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a
recognised university.
Desirable
Qualifications, Attributes and Competencies:
i) Good communication skills including
abilities to speak in English, Assamese and Hindi, good writing skill in English.
ii) A diploma/certificate of minimum of 6
(six) months duration in computer applications.
iii) 1 (one) year’s experience of office
management and secretarial works preferably in a university, research
institution or government office.

An age within 45 years for UR and 50 years in case of candidates belonging to
SC and ST categories as on 1st April, 2023.

Name of post: Accountant

Pay scale:
Rs. 22,000-87,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 9,700/-
Minimum
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised
university with a experience of at least five years in a relevant field.
Desirable
Qualification, Attributes and Competencies:
i) A diploma/certificate of minimum of 6
(six) months duration in computer applications / experience of handling
accounting software such as Tally.ERP.
ii) Completion of courses on Accountancy
and/or Finance.
Age:
An age within 45 years for UR and 50 years in case of candidates belonging to
SC and ST categories as on 1st April, 2023.

7. Application
fee: Candidates will be required to pay an amount
of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only and in case of SC/ST Rs. 500/- (Rupees
Five Hundred) only by Demand Draft in favour of the “Registrar, Bhattadev University” payable at SBI, Pathsala Branch
as an application fee for the post.
8. Last
date of submission of application: Completed
applications in the prescribed form along with necessary enclosures must reach
the office of the “Registrar, Bhattadev
University, Bajali, Pathsala-781325” latest by 10th May, 2023 (04:00 p.m.). Two (2) copies of
application forms with all testimonials are needed to be submitted. The
envelope containing the application form must indicate the name of the post
& advertisement no.
