RESEARCH ASSISTANT : 45 VACANT POSTS
Online applications are invited from interested
candidates who are citizens of India as defined under Article 5 to 8 of the
Constitution of India for the following 45 vacant posts of Research Assistant to
be filled up in Planning Services under Transformation & Development
Department.

scale: Rs. 22,000/- - 97,000/- + Grade pay Rs. 9,400/-
4. Educational
qualification: Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce
from any recognized University with either Statistics, Economics, Mathematics,
Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work,
Business Administration, Business Management, Geography or Commerce as one of
the subjects. Preference shall be given
to Honours Graduates.
5. Age: The
candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years
of age as on 0/01/2021.
6. Age
relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to
SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging
to OBC/MOBC.
(iii) 10 (ten) years in respect of candidates belonging
to PWD.
(iv) The upper age limit in respect of candidates who
have been serving in a lower post or cadres in the service for a minimum period
of 5 years on the date of application should not be more than 40 years on the
1st January of the year of advertisement.

Eligibility criteria: The candidate must be a permanent resident
of Assam.
